The Democrats are going to destroy the economy and cause massive unemployment and inflation that will skyrocket faster than the space shuttle. Unfortunately, about 70% of the population has been dumbed down into believing in a minimum wage.
I'm certain that this could be reduced to 50% and probably less with some proper education and deprogramming from liberal brainwashing.
As it stands right now, most people are ignorant beyond belief.

I already make slightly over the minimum wage (which, in California is higher than the Federal minimum wage). I don't think the minimum wage increase will have any impact on my hourly rate.

by raising the minimum wage by $2/hr, we are going to see a big raise in prices. Companies are still going to want to make the same amount of profit, by having to pay employees more, they will raise prices, and/or reduce their workforce, causing a higher unemployment rate.
