When I was seventeen I didn't think it was too young. I was head over heels with some guy and wanted to get married... he went to jail before that happened though, lol! (yeah he was a real keeper)

Now that I'm 36 I think OMG what was I thinking. I think at seventeen you have grown up a lot, but still have a LONG way to go and a LOT to learn about life and how the world operates. Marriages at that age have been known to last, sure, but why make it so much harder on yourself? You'll change so much by the time you hit 20 and more again by the time you're 25. What you want at 17 may be nothing like what you'll want when you're 25. Enjoy the freedom of not having to live at home and not having to live for someone else while you can. Plenty of time to get married in your 20s, or even 30s.

particular, i think of you're too youthful! stay existence a sprint and no remember if it is meant to be, it is going to be. i'm 30 and have been given married at 22 and each so often i think of I married too youthful. My husband and that i began out residing mutually as quickly as we've been 20. i admire my husband, yet each and every so often I choose I had held out a sprint longer. looking returned to whilst i replaced into 17...i in my opinion, relatively believed i replaced into an grownup and that i knew precisely what i wanted out of existence. I dated a similar guy for many of my previous due young infants and thought i wanted to marry him. i did no longer. and that i'm grateful for that! We grew as much as be completely diverse human beings. provide it some years and once you're meant to be, you would be married! between now and then, purely have exciting. YES!! You need to see what else is out there and find and understand who you are and what you need in a partner. I don't think this is possible till your mid to late twenties. In the world we now live in, marriages have an extremely HIGH divorce rate, young marriages even higher. Give yourself time to grow as a person, enjoy your youth so you have no regrets later in life.:)

yes - don't throw your life away - I almost made the same mistake, but instead, I got to finish school and now I live for me. Own place, car etc...I think anything before 25 is too young

Not really, but you should definitly wait a little. I mean getting married is only a legal tie. It doesn't mean you love your significant other any more/less. I was gonna marry my ex when she turned 18, but well she's my ex now. Life is full of uncertainties. Be carefull
