If a member country of the EU splits into two or more independant parts, are the parts automatically members of the European Union? Examples might include Scotland, North and south Italy, the Basque country, Belgium and the Walloons etc.

I hope not.

EU was a huge mistake and I would like to think Scotland is better than that.

Granted at the moment my proposal to have Scotland join the US might not fly too well.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the united kingdom already is the Queen of Scotland, on an identical time as she is the Queen of latest Zealand, the Queen of Australia, etc. no matter if Scotland grew to grow to be completely self sufficient, why might want to that make any change in Her Majesty's status as Queen of Scotland? You ask about "the basically accurate time there become" a Monarch of Scotland. there's a Monarch; Her maximum Gracious Majesty. per chance you're contemplating attempting to fix the Stuarts to the Throne? i think it would want to be very puzzling for you (or every person else) to teach an untainted line. God save The Queen!!!

No, they would make Shawn Connery their leader and he would slap anyone who didn't finish the whole bottle of scotch before voting.
