Theres is no way to tell, but 1 cm really isnt that much yet. I was 4 cm for a month with my daughter and still went over due. I was 3 1/2 with my son and had him 2 weeks early. When you body is ready it'll happen. Just keep on eye on changes, like stomach hardening, lower back pain, menstral like cramps. I promise you wont stay pregnant forever, even though you feel like it. =) hope this helps

hi-Im due on the 23rd with number 1
I had an appt today I am 3-4 cm dialated and 60% thinned--my doctor doesnt think Im going to make it to my appt. next week
at my appt 2 weeks ago-I was 1-2 dialated and 50% thinned.
so your baby can come now--or maybe not, lol
It stinks-I wish there was a definate way for us to know.

I don't know i stayed at 1 cm for a couple weeks but everyone's different you very well could have your baby next week.

There's always a chance! Just be sure to eat well & get lots of rest in the mean time because you'll need your strength for labor & delivery!
