ok if you're on birth control, and your cycle is like clock work and say there's 26 days in between... on the day you ovulate, if you do NOT take your pill, do NOT use a condom, CAN you get pregnant?! Or is the effects of bc still in your system? Are the chances of getting pregnant pretty high?

Yes you can get pregnant if these conditions are met. The hormones from the pill will leave your system 24-48 after you've taken a pill, if you don't take the next pill.

If you read the package inserts of your pills, it will explain all of this.

If you think you are pregant, and you're on the pill stop taking it right away. The pill can harm the developing child.

There is a higher than normal chance of getting pregnant than if you had taken the missed BC pill, but you still have less of a chance getting pregnant than someone who is not taking BC pills.

your chance will be higher then normal but that is not a 100% gaurentee that you will get pregnant!
