It's a state law, not federal.
In NH, under 16 can not work more than 20 hours/week and not past 9PM. After 16, I don't think there is any limit?

I'm not sure but I think it is 30 hours. Is the stupidest of rules as when I was 15; I worked two full time (40 hours or more a week) jobs and finished High Scholl with straight A's. Kids are not dumb - overprotective parents are - and thus we get these stupid restrictions.

That is a state call I believe and it depends on a few things. If you are a high school student that would be considered.

That differs from state to state. Check with your local Department of Labor.

It all depends on what state you live in, and if the person is in school or not. If they are part of a union. I dont believe that is a certain standard.
