It's a state law, not federal.

In NH, under 16 can not work more than 20 hours/week and not past 9PM. After 16, I don't think there is any limit?

I'm not sure but I think it is 30 hours. Is the stupidest of rules as when I was 15; I worked two full time (40 hours or more a week) jobs and finished High Scholl with straight A's. Kids are not dumb - overprotective parents are - and thus we get these stupid restrictions.

That is a state call I believe and it depends on a few things. If you are a high school student that would be considered.

It all depends on what state you live in, and if the person is in school or not. If they are part of a union. I dont believe that is a certain standard.
