Help.................?

i want to tie dye a plain white shirt. but...
i don't have fabric dye, is there anything else i could use?
and also how to do it thanks

any item of clothing that is not colourfast. Put in large saucepan together full of cold water and very slowly heat up stirring frequently. Do not allow to actually boil as the garments will shrink. when the colour you want plunge into a sink full of cold salt water.

tea bags will dye it brown , dont forget to soak it in salt after you have dyed it ,to seal the colour in,

I guess you could try coffee granules - although this wouldn't give you a permanent die. It depends what you need it for and how quickly?
