wat does it mean on trl wen a music video retires? idk my love was retired like yesterday or the day before...and today hurt is retired...wat does it mean?

It means you need to turn off the TV and improve your grades. Do you spell the way you do on purpose? You come across as a High School drop out at best. Take some pride in yourself. At the very least, click the little "Check Spelling" option before posting....

it is when a music video is put on the seen for a while until there is another video to replace it. it goes into retirement. The video in better terms is old. It has passed it's time of plays.

after 30 days of consecutive showings on trl a video is retired, meaning it won't be eligable for the countdown. it'll still show on mtv but it can't be on trl anymore

well back in the day when trl started (wow i remember that i was in h.s.!)
videos would stay on the countdown for numerous days...so now after like 43 days or something like that they retire them off the countdown to allow new videos a slot

i haven't watched trl since i was in highschool (6 years) but back then it meant that it had been on the countdown for like 20 times or something...it's probably a good thing though. that is how songs get old and sorry.

I believe that means it's been on the countdown for 30 consecutive days, after 30 days in the top ten it retires....at least that's how it used to be.

it means that they are not goin 2 play that video in the count down any more because it been on there a certain amount of day

it was on for 60 or 65 days so they wont play it anymore so theres room for more new videos
