Yes the sooner the better! Women are a nice touch but i would like to see a draft with ages 18 to 40 and no exclusions especially for the wealthy & well connected! We need a build up of at the very least to 5 million active troops even then it would be less than half of what China currently has.

It hopefully wont come down to starting a draft because we have plenty of individuals who are more than willing to join the service who are simply turned down. If we need more people then we will start lowering the requirement for getting in. And if for some reason we needed to then I agree that women should be included

I'm not up for the draft coming back. I don't think women should be included in the draft. I think it should be voluntary for women to serve like it's been. I am up for equality and everything, but I think it would be a bad idea to require women to serve. With draft age limit, most of the women would be in their prime childbearing ages and if something happened to a majority of American women, we could be in trouble in years to come. I have no problem with women voluntarily joining but I don't think it should be required.

You mean reinstalling the draft for this obvious civil war in Iraq?
Oh My Gosh, I humbly disagree with you 150%! More than 100!
This war is one we cannot win. We need to treat it the same as Vietnam and get the hell out while we still can!

No. I do not believe that we need to start the draft. We are not in another world war. Nor is it as grim a battle in Iraq to warant that either.

OMG no. Forcing people to fight in a war they don't agree with? If you want to go, then by all means sign up, I salute you, but drafting the unwilling is ridiculous.

No and no. The military gets enough volunteers. Forcing people to do things against their will guarantees some major problems for the government.

Yes i think it's comming because even if Iraq get's done there will be another conflict and we need trained people to fight it and yes women should be involved also.

I appreciate what your dad did, but I think it is wrong to force anyone to commit violence against their own free will. If you don't believe in what we are fighting for, you should not be forced to participate. And I don't think women should be forced to do anything like that
