No they are not lazy but i think everyone has thier times when work is just not important.
Smart and reserved. not really shy, but very serious.

Capricorns are smart and think differently than most. Caps look slow but in reality they are 3 steps ahead of everyone else. Likable sure once you get to know a cap you'll find they have great sense of humor though it may be a little dry. Too serious at times yes they can be too serious but its because they are able to concentrate on a task with ferocious intensity. If you asked my gf she would say they are lazy.

Well, that all depends on their moon sign in addition to being a Capricorn. I'm a Cap, and I'm smart, congenial, and I have my lazy moments but they're VERY few and far between. I tend to be VERY serious about life, where I'm headed, finances, my job, my family, MY PRIVACY... but not so serious about getting my house neat as a pin or other things.
I'm also married to a Cap, and he's VERY smart, likable in his own way, lazy about his health but not about work. As far as being serious, he takes a LOT of things seriously like gaming, blogging, etc.
It all depends on what precise detail in life you'd want to know if he's smart/serious/lazy with. But being "serious", Capricorns are rather TERRIBLE liars!

I believe most Capricorns aren't necessarily smart but they will work hard to gain great knowledge..I don't know if that makes sense when I put it down in words. I think they can or cannot be likeable, serious, and lazy. It all depends on their mood.

In my experience, they are very smart. I wouldn't say they are lazy, they are just easily caught up in whatever interests them and lose track of time. My ex b/f is a capricorn and he is a very smart great guy. At times he was likeable and at times I wanted to strangle him..lol...but he was great, very egotitistical, but impressive in everything he did.

My mother is a Capricorn and I have seen that they are likeable if your into the serious type. Capricorns also seem to be very honest, and have a tendency to get tired of people who act stupid very quickly.
