it is the largest mall in the world as per square feet but I would say that in order to see everything that it has to offer without just glimpsing
1st day
see all the stores and take in a movie at silver city
that should finish off day one start on the upper level and work your way down believe me it makes a difference
2nd day
play on the ice rink and play at the amusement park then finish the day in bourbon street
3rd day
take in the otter show and submarine ride then head off to relax at the water park
if it is summer time try to find some time to take in the driving range located on the roof
another tip try to park at entrance 44 its right beside the police station and is centrally located to everything hope this gives you an idea have fun and enjoy your stay

You would never go into all the stores in the mall.
I live close to WEM and worked in it for years and years but I have never been in ALL the stores.
You could easily spend days in the mall.
Shopping
swimming
golfing
eating
going to movies
skating
amusement park rides (I love the roller coaster)
the sea life caverns
etc

WEM is the only mall I go to - I have lived here for most of my life and I still love it.

To just shop would take 2 days.
To visit all the stores and attractions would take you weeks.

I live in Edmonton and love WEM!

West Edmonton Mall is waiting for you! It's the world's largest entertainment and shopping centre and Alberta's number one tourist attraction, featuring over 800 stores and services, over 100 eating establishments, plus nine world class attractions. It's the only mall of its kind - both a shopper's dream and a world of excitement and adventure.

You could easily do it all in one day. There is a lot of stuff repeated in the mall. But if you wanted to see every attraction I think that you would need 2 days to not feel rushed.

There's some debate as to whether it is the biggest. The Mall of America in Minneapolis has more stores, but the WEM is larger, in terms of the total square footage.

You could easily spend 2-3 days there, there is a water park (wave pool, water slides, etc), an amusement park (roller coaster, etc), 3 movie theatres (~40 screens), as well as thousands of stores.

Personally, I can't spend more than a half hour in the place without getting irritated. But then I think most people from Edmonton hate the mall.

I go there alot and the mall isnt all that great.
It actually sucks to be honest with you, NO ONE moves out of your way there, most of the people are snobs or ignorant and parking sucks to.
Not a great mall.
I live in the west end in edmonton.

too see the shops probably a few hours as long as it's not overly crowded and you don't stop to shop.

Don't see the point tho, hate the mall
