wow! all this support, I am so greatful for all of it. To keep you all updated. I am trainning and I have spoken to my Dr. But he sudgests that I lose atleast 100 lbs befor I consider walking such a long distance. he tells me it would be easier on my knees that way. Thank you all so very much and god bless you all.

Hey man if you really are going to do that I wish you the best of luck! Have fun too. Just one thing though. Make sure that you leave there at a time when it is early enough that you beat all the bad weather out this way. You do not wnat to get caught in a blizzard or ice storm. Trust me. I live in Michigan and the weather can get really cold and nasty. Lets just say winters in the midwest are swift and evil when they choose to be. Best of luck to you.

Why not, I support the trip one hundred percent. I suggest that you contact all radio and television stations along your route. This will be a big human interest story.

Hopefully you leave LA at 300 + lbs. and show up here at about 220 lbs.

I am sure some of the ladies in the flats (cool bar area along the Cuyahoga river) will show you their appreciation.

Just put one foot in front of the other and soon you'll be walking out the door.

I wish you all the best on your journey. Please make sure to continue to train and see your doctor to ensure that you are healthy enough to make this trip.

As someone who grew up in Cleveland, moved to Las Vegas 11 years ago, and then moved back home this year, Cleveland ROCKS. You won't regret your choice...even if the Browns are that great, it's such a blast going to the games!

God speed...

Crossing the deserts and hiking up the Rocky Mountain range will not be fun. At your weight, you will need more water than you can carry. Make sure someone with an air conditioned van (with room enough for you to lie down) follows you (bike riders call it a "sag wagon."

As a transplanted Buckeye and a former Clevelander, I say, "I wish I could go with you!" Salute the Soldiers' & Sailors' monument for me; downtown in front of the Terminal Tower!

I've lived in Las Vegas since 1990, and especially in the fall, I really miss Ohio!

Go Bucks! Go Browns! GO TRIBE!!!

A few years ago, a man visited our church that had been walking all across America. Make sure that you have good shoes and you may want to visit churches on your way. Sometimes you may get invited in for a meal.

I think that's great!! Just imagine the feeling of accomplishment you would have when you finish. I can't imagine how long that would take, but I think you should go for it. GOOD LUCK!
