depending on what wireless network and type of phone you have...some phones you can block private calls from by going to the settings, if you can't do it from your phone try going on the networks website and logging in to your account. You should be able to block it from there. And they can trace private calls, but only the police have the ability to do this.

Dialing *67 before a number means that the receiver will not be able to see the dailer's number and cannot trace it. To block private calls, you will need to enable fixed dialing. Call you provider because how this function works is dependent on your provider's procedure for doing this.

IT DEPENDS ON THE MODEL OF YOUR PHONE. IF YOU GO TO SECURITY AND THERE IS A SETTING FOR CALL RESTRICTIONS YOU CAN SET YOUR PHONE TO RING ONLY FOR THE NUMBERS IN YOUR PHONE BOOK. IF SOMEONE WHO'S NUMBER IS NOT SAVED IN YOUR PHONE IT WILL NOT RING ON YOUR END ONLY THEIRS AND THEY CAN STILL LEAVE YOU A VOICE MAIL MESSAGE
