If you aren't ready to see your Dr then I guess the only thing to do is wait and test again if your period doesn't show up. Those test can give false negatives.

I would say that if you havent started your period within the next 3 days and your pregnancy tests are still negative you will need to see your dr to get Provera to start your cycle again.
Are you absolutly sure you ovulated on time?? Or even at all??
Usually when a period is late/doesnt show up like that, and your not pregnant the cause is that you didnt ovulate.
Sometimes our body will go through the motions of ovulating (the fertile cm, the cramps, etc...) but the egg isnt actually released.

Your husband is right. Your period can be delayed by the stress of trying to conceive. If your period doesn't come in another week I would call the doctor. They will give you a blood pregnancy test which is much more accurate. I had a friend in college that was trying to get pregnant. Her period did not come but HPT was negative. She went to the doctor and they gave her another urine test that was also negative. They refused to give her a blood test (HMO) and wanted her to take pills to bring on her period. She refused and after another couple of weeks took another HPT and it was negative. She went out of network to another doctor for a blood test which came up positive. She was almost 3 months pregnant and ended up having a healthy baby girl. The point of the long story is sometimes the HcG levels are too low to detect in urine.

I have been in your shoes. I would ovulate on time and then get my period late. (about 4-5 days late) Just give it time, and everything will fall into place. If you are not pregnant by 1 year, go to your Dr. and try and get some testing done. I know easier said then done (cause I am going through it myself) but try not to stress it. I wish you all the best of luck!!! :)

Sure! It's called an "anovulatory" cycle. Yes, stress can play a factor. I wouldn't' worry (yet), especially if you're under 25, since the ovaries often don't mature 'til then, so irregular cycles are common!
