I am considering on a move to TN. Can anyone tell me which is the better community; Maryville or Sevierville pertaining to jobs,social life, entertainment, colleges, etc... I have been to both but only could spend a day in each. Love those mts...

Maryville It is a great place, I use to live in Mount Vernon Kentucky and if and when I got days off I would go to Maryville, not far from Knoxville and nice people, schools and such, I have friends who live there and they really like it, they use to live in California ... I'm now living in Alberta Canada and cant wait to get thru a few things so that my hubby and I can travel down there, he has never been to any of the southern states...

i spend time in knoxville several times a year. my choice is marysville for your needs. its closer to k'ville than sevierville.

Aren't they right next door to one another? So the benefits of either one would also apply to the other.
