i work for a well known mobile phone retailer and personally think not as its quite expensive at about 200 ish pounds so it runs the risk of being lost/stolen at school plus i have seen with quite a few of them they have a tendency of breaking down mechanicaly plus cos they are quite slim if the phone is dropped the screen will break and it will snap like a twig cos i have seen this witha number of them, if you do decide to though please make sure you take out some sort of insurance, as the phone is popular and expensive it could target other kids to steal it

i would say no because when taking pictures like the kids like to do you have to keep absolutely still and you need to master this. apart from that the price is my only other concern. for that money you are better off with the sony ericsson k800i or get the cheaper k750i they they are both top phones if its a small lider you are after get the d600
