You have to consider several things.
1. Your age and child care experience
2. Age(s) of the child(ren) you'll be caring for.
3 Time involved
4. Do they have special needs?
5. Have you attended a SafeSitter class?

I think my daughter got $6.00/hr. I would add no less than $1.50-2.00/hr. to that because I live in Indy and I know nobody lives in Carmel for long with less than a 6-figure income!

Carmel IN = $5 per hour would be fair unless you are over 18 and a Nanny = then $25 per hour
Carmel CA = $15 per hour unless over 18 and a Nanny = $75 per hour

8.00 per hour, carmel is a richy area, they can afford it.

I think that u should let them decide the price(cuz usually they think thats sweet so they pay u alot and hire u more). That's wat i do.....
