I would be singing and I would want something that the crowd would know. I am in eight grade if that helps at all.

It is a catholic school. what do you think of magic carpet ride, or hound dog? I need lots of songs so keep responding.

I also play acoustic. but i use my electric for shows if that helps at all. I need something that the crowd which is both adults and kids k-8 will know.

Since your in a Catholic school, Hot for Teacher would not be the best idea (though it would be very funny, I'm not sure how strict they are).

I personally really like Hey You by Pink Floyd, though some parts of it don't have guitar (it depends on if your going to sing it, too).

Tom Petty would sound pretty nice on an acoustic so you could do one of theirs like American Girl or Breakdown.

I like someone's idea of the Eagles - you could do Witchy Woman (a very cool guitar song), Victim of Love, New Kid in Town (great for acoustic!), or Hotel California.
