I do have one in mind. I am sure there are many more, but this one I believe might have a good future. Vesta Wind Systems. The ticker is VWSYF. Trades on the pink sheets. Company is the world's largest manufacturer of wind turbines. You can read about the company by doing a search on the internet.

I think global warming is going to be a big issue this summer. With this in mind, I am investing in alternative energy companies, particularly wind energy. I like Vestas (VWSYF.PK) and Tower Tech (TWRT.OB). I also like Energy Conversion Devices, ENER. They make solar panels and batteries for hybrid cars. Here is a link on their business:

Green Century Equities fund has a rather interesting list for their top 10 holdings: Microsoft, Proctor & Gamble, Johnson and Johnson, J. P. Morgan Chase, Cisco, AT&T, Wells Fargo, Intel, Verizon, and PepsiCo. So a fund that provides investments for environmentalists invests in the likes of these. Maybe they will work for you too.

I know many will disagree with me but I've always thought that investing and social responsibility simply don't go together. The fact is that investing is difficult enough without adding another variable to contend with....Your portfolio should be structured with one thing in mind which is wealth accumulation....I'm not saying you shouldn't refuse to invest in some companies who derive revenue from selling products you absolutely disagree with such as tobaco etc...but there are so many ways that individuals can be socially resposible in their daily lives that I don't think you should be overly concerned with it when structuring your investment portfolio.

Just a thought...if you are looking for investment advice, maybe you should consider MorningStar, Motley Fool, or someplace OTHER than Yahoo Answers.
