Yes - but it depends how big the Hotel is.

If it's small - like a Guest House (say up to a dozen rooms or so), then you might run it yourself with minimal number of employees or maybe just your relatives (by 'contracting out' most of the work, such as laundry, cleaning etc).

Once you get to 100 rooms + you need to put in place Managers with 'Teams' responsible for specific tasks etc.

The general approach would be the same as for any commercial organisation (some-one has to do wages, some-one else take bookings etc).
