High School has its own rules, and it's own politics. Talking about someone behind their back, happens all the time. Everybody is trying to beat each other on the popularity ladder, or who is the hottest. When you get a little older, it lessens but it is still here. I think people say things about other people because they are insecure and don't want to work on themselves. But, I think everyone is guilty of this.. My best advice or answer, stick to your own values, your own morals, and be your own person. Ignore the people that drive you crazy, and just be nice. Looking back at high school, their were these really popular girls when we started, but by the time we were seniors, they were dirty, mean, and gossipy. The ones who won in the end were the once who were nice and kind to everyone.

Ahh high school I'm glad I graduated...
Just try to ignore them... I know that probably sounds stupid... but you have to try. And even after your out of school and out in the world, some people are still like that so learn to tune out the drama now! :)♥

I would offer a lengthy comment, but all that really needs to be said is that people are REALLY stupid sometimes, especially when it comes to SOMEBODY ELSE'S BUSINESS.......
Good for you for seeing that.........makes me think there IS hope for your generation after all!

most people are dumber than rocks.
you've been swept into the concept that just because of evolutionary influences like opposable thumbs and conscious complex thought processes, human beings must also be superior in their actions.
um...no.
most people are dummer than rocks.

No matter how old you get there will always be people sticking their noses into other peoples business. You just see it more while you're in school.
And yes, it sucks..........

If you can't say something nice about somebody , don't say anything at all . Too bad everyone's mother didn't teach them that , eh .
