For me i chew gum at school every day. The teachers dont see it 'cuz it's small enough to stic somewhere teachers can't see and u can eat lunch. and everyone in my Clique (the guys call us "The Chewers") does it too. but every time there's a sub we have to spit our gum out. and the strick subs make us do redicolous stuff, one time our sub made us go to every classroom and say "We were bad, We chewed gum, we got in trouble. Don't chew gum" thankfully my crush was absent that day.

Why do you think that the rules don't apply to you? Rules are not made to be broken - despite the old adage that says otherwise.
Your teachers are wrong to not be enforcing it. I am amazed by the amount of people that think that the rules mean everyone but themselves - Rules are to remove chaos in this world - and in school - no gum is because of the idiots that stick it under chairs, under desks and the million other places besides their mouth or the trash. You may not be one that does that - but that is why the rule and it needs to be followed.

Why do you think you shouldn't get in trouble for breaking the rules? Just because a rule isn't very important, doesn't mean you don't have to accept the consequences when you break it. Go ahead and chew gum if you want, but don't complain when you get into trouble for it, because you knew you would.
