When a bearded dragon is shedding they can exhibit different behaviours then they normally would. Usually, the changes that you will notice will be hiding from you or the basking light, appetite decrease, laziness and a general crankiness in behaviour. You can help them feel a little better and to shed a little sooner by spraying them with water more often or give them long warm soak in warm water up to their elbows and I like to take a cup and pour the water over their back. This actually does 2 things, it's kind of like licking your lips when they are chapped, they feel good right away but overall it makes them drier then before. Immediately your dragon is going to feel a little relief and after it is back in it's enclosure the dead skin is going to shrink up as it dries and hopefully shed, since the ultimate goal is for it to shed, the bathing helps. I would discourage you to attempt to help any shedding by pulling the skin though as the new skin is still new and forming underneath and may still be attached to the old dead stuff. If you pull it you could risk pulling some of the new skin that is still forming.
Also, on a quick note, the odd shedding behaviour can happen up to a week or so before, during or up to a week after shedding actually takes place. If the behaviour is lasting after the shed I found it is usually little peices of skin caught between the dragons new scales and another warm bath with the addition of light scrubbing with a SOFT tooth brush can help.
Good luck to you,
Dale

Yes usually. They are uncomfortable when they are shedding so they don't want to move around as much. Their freshly exposed "new skin" is very sensitive and should not be touched until a day or so after shedding.

Yes they do. Also don't hold them at this time and for a day or two afterward. They are sensitive to touch.
