Professional athletes go to these seedy nightclubs and there is always some loser jerks ready to start a fight because they want attention .
Sometimes these incidents lead to fights, killings and injuries.
Coaches should ban those activities during playing season .

Those nightclubs are probably expensive clubs and are very nice. You are talking about the people that seem to hang around in those places.

My guess is jealousy has a lot to do with the fights. Individuals acting like they have something to prove to others when an athlete shows up. Look at the fights Charles Barkley used to get in. Probably not one of them from him instigating it. He didn't back down either and ended up losing some big bucks for taking care of business.

After the Hammer got hurt last year, the Seahawks coach didn't allow any of the players out in Pioneer Square for the remainder of the season.

I sure hope you are not trying to say that Williams deserved what was coming to him because of his choice of nightclub. Or how about, that Williams death was his coach's fault?

First, they do not go to seedy nightclubs. Where did you here that? They usually go to the top of the line clubs. The coaches only try to interfere when they think that the decisions of the players may effect their game. They also realize that if they don't allow the players to be who they want to be, this may also effect a game so its really a balance.

Yeah I dont think they go to seedy nightclubs...I'd imagine they go more to trendy nightclubs. A-list kinda places.

The trouble is, a lot of people that are there are just there to show off, and you get kind of a gunslinger dilemma, where when you're there and you're famous as a big tough football star, you're going to attract all the nobodys who want to make a name as the guy that beat you up.

I think, in a lot of cases, a lot of stars are talented athletes who grew up in disadvantaged areas, and who have played football pretty much as their life from high school through college, and maybe didnt get as much life experience or good advice as someone else their age who wasnt as sheltered and controlled. All of a sudden they're out on their own, with more money than anyone really knows what to do with, and naturally mistakes are going to be made.

Remember, Darrent Williams was only one year out of college, he was only 22 or 23 or so.

They actually go to pretty nice nightclubs. Ones with security and controls to keep violence to a minimum. Most of the trouble happens outside the nightclubs where there is no security.

It's not that they go to the nightclubs, it's that they are still out at 3:00 in the morning....and NOTHING good happens at 3:00 in the morning! And most nightclubs are nothing but trouble.

like previously mentioned the clubs they go to are top of the line clubs. The problem is their are still people who arent at their level of fame or fortune even their. I dont think its because they think they are "above" everyone else. People forget that they are still just like us except more money and stardom. They want to continue their lives like previously but their are always gonna be jealous people who do horrible things to them like what happen recently. However, i dont it should be banned because they are grown men and allowed to make their own decisions

I dont think this activity should be banned. They probably dont get into incidents just because they're famous. Almost every club/bar fight stems from retaliation. If you're provoked by someone in a club, walk off.

Because they like to feel "above" other people and they like the attention. Also, that is where the HOES are, so they know they gonna get some free pootytang and then send the hoe home. They wouldn't have all this satisfaction if they were in an upscale place. And I doubt they like elevator music!

That's where the cheap hoe's hang out. Easier to buy a few drinks than pay for a hooker!
