wow are you asking this just to get attention, cuz that is a really dumb question. If all the players used roids then there is no natural talent. what is the point of the game? it is to prove human ability and talent not what roids can do for u. besides if it did make the game more interesting there would be less games because when players push themselves too hard they will eventually burst. No way. and an average NFL career would only last maybe 3 years because they are so worn out by the roids. You would have less good players in the game because they would destroy themselves too early and probably die early because of all that drug use in them. So unless u don't want to watch football anymore or have any more good players don't encourage them to use drugs. idiot.

Obviously your juice use has started to affect your sense of judgment...
Steroids, firstly, are illegal, so even if they allowed them under NFL rules, the players could still be arrested for possessing or using them.
Secondly, if they were allowed, they'd be de facto required, as anyone who didnt take them wouldnt be as good as someone who did, and would be cut. It wouldnt be a "choice" to take them or not, it would be a choice to play pro football or try to get a career with your PE degree from Florida St.
Thirdly, it sets a bad example for youth - it says, basically, you dont have to try hard, because you can always just cheat and take the easy way.
Fourthly, it would make the game less interesting, as players would constantly be upping their dose and pushing themselves harder to keep their edge. Players would burn out faster, until you basically have disposable players. You wouldnt get guys like Brett Favre who play 15 years in the league; you'd barely have veterans at all.
Fifthly, if you want to use the logic "well people do anyway so why not just let them?" then nothing at all should be illegal - rape, murder, robbery, as people "do them anyway" already. Does robbery make it easier to get rich than working hard or investing intelligently? Sure. Does that mean we should just let everyone rob each other? Of course not.
Lastly, the games wouldnt get any more exciting as all the players would be on steroids, so there'd be no competitive advantage - linebackers would tackle better, but running backs would run better; WRs would be faster, but so would CBs, etc. There'd be no upside for the risk, it wouldnt be any more intense.

Because using those type of drugs is cheating. If you're not that good without performance enhancing drugs, then maybe you should pick another hobby. And plus, there's always some major risks involved, when you use a lot of drugs. Or any unnecessary drugs. No one wants to see people play sports unnaturally. The best game is a fair game.

I guess cause it is a bad influence on kids. A lot of kids today are stupid. Though Merriman gets bashed for getting caught roiding when a lot of players in the 80s roided in the NFL.

Why not just watch robots play. There has to be a human element to sport. Athletes are hard working dedicated people, if they all used roids than the games would suck. Overbearing muscleman swinging bats are not athletes they are bodybuilders, it takes skill to play sports not just muscles.

Because kids and teenagers from 2-18 all look up to these athletes. They are all taught that cheating is wrong and you shouldn't cheat. Performance enhancing drugs is cheating. Allowing pro athletes to use steroids is saying to these people that cheating is okay. A professional athlete is always a role model first, entertainer second

Maybe you should just play some Madden 07 on Xbox. You can't let them use drugs because then it isn't really them playing, its an unnatural version of them. And that isn't fair to those not using drugs. So then everyone would use them and get hurt, sick, and have serious health problems just for your entertainment.

Your an idiot. By your logic, if a person wants to do something that knowingly will hurt themselves than fine. So all drugs should be made legal and hell let's just let everyone do whatever they want with no rules at all.

It would send the wrong message to kids and young athletes. College athletes would start using them so they can compete when they get drafted. That would cause high schoolers to start using them and so on. We would have teenagers ruining their bodies and lives just because they let the pros do it.
