First yes you can do it at home by your self. The first wiccans didn't do it with others they did it alone.

second if its something you want to do go for it. Find someone to help you, read some books about it. Google wiccan. Find out all you can before you decide you want to do this.

Some people will tell you its the work of the devil. I don't believe that one bit.
its not something you want to jump into all at once. There is a lot you need to know before you do.

Just make sure you get all the info you can, maybe try to find someone close to you that Will help you and teach you.

There is also Catholic magic, its a lot different then Wicca magic. You may want to look into that as well.

There are many different kinds of magic. I like Wicca, there are many many kids of Wicca to lol, its totally natural.

The answer to your first question is, of course...

Question #2 is not so easy. Are you a practicing Christian? If so, why would you want to become a witch, as this is generally frowned upon even in this day and age?

Question #3...a good idea for whom? You have to decide if it's the right idea for you, and your family, loved ones, etc.

Question #4 = no, I cannot help you (unless I already have...)

GOOD LUCK!

I used to be heavily involved years ago. I gave it up because I realized that for me it was just my way of trying to be special. If you are really interested, speak to someone who is Wiccan ...Go to a Wiccan website if you don't know any witches personally. Don't talk to a would-be Goth with a pentagram and a candle magic book and think you are getting any good information.

In general do not do anything alone unless you are experienced. You should read Modern Magick by Donald Michael Kraig. It is an excellent book to understand real magic and whether it is right for you.

Yes you can do witchcraft at home by yourself. Generally this group of beings is called Wicca Can you be christian and Wicca at the same time? I don't know. Personally I don't think so,but this is a very serious and personal question. It's one that only you can answer for yourself. For me religious matters are very personal. Parents, partners, friends, co-workers nor the world can not decide this issue for you.

you can study aspects of the Wicca religion. As far as doing spells goes, don't try it.
If you don't have the experience you could end up drawing negative energy to yourself.
People often want to be witches in order to cast spells, but spells are actually a way of trying to manipulate people against their will.
It's not good in any religion to try and control someone.

Where else would you practice witchcraft? In a pentagram of fire in the woods?

Anyway, witchcraft in the general sense is not really much use. If you mean paganism where there is a greater appreciation for nature and for the Earth as our nurturer then it might help you find more satisfaction in life.

Yes, there are many solitary witches in many regions of the world. Also, wicca and witchcraft are alike in ways but are different from one another.
