being unhappy.
you being worth more then the job you was doing,
it being a dead end job,
knowing your job inside out but being underminded,
can't learn anymore,
being treated unfairly
lost all heart in what you do,

A better opportunity either for career advancement, better pay, better working conditions or if the current position looked like there was little potential for future growth either for the company or for me. Personally if pay was the only issue, it would probably not be enough of a motivator to shift jobs, but if it was I would set the minimum raise at 10% for a new position. This is assuming of course that I have a current job and not unemployed or layed off, in that case, I will take the first offer and then look for better opportunities.

I assume you mean resign or quit rather than being forced to leave.
I would leave a job:
- if I was forced to do anything dangerous that I was not hired to do.
- if they degraded me, harrassed me, or looked down on me.
- if the pay or work environment was much better elsewhere.
Keep in mind that many people always think "...the grass is greener on the other side of the field...". Unless you find the issues unbearable, make sure that you have some other job lined up and you are confident it will be better before you leave your current employer.

Not much if the pay and conditions were good. However if I was in hell I would work on finding better employment. Life is too short to be unhappy at work .... your there for at least 8 hours a day.

Politics... when the boss changes, a lot of things change... Let's say I just won't do certain things to keep a job.
