They both weigh the same if you are going to look at the question from only one direction. If you are going to physically move both items from one location to another, then a ton of bricks is a lot heavier. No one man can pick up a ton of either by himself all at once, therefore you would have to move it a little at a time. You would be more exhausted from moving the bricks versus moving the ton of feathers. So from my perspective a ton of bricks is a lot heavier.

You could take that both ways, a ton can mean 1,000 pounds (so then the feathers and the bricks would then weigh the same). If you mean just a "random amount" of bricks and feathers, than I would go with the bricks since they are heavier.
