Just moved into a new home and it smells like dog urine. the thing is I dont know where the dog peed. All the floors in the house are wood. Any home remedy would be nice. thanks all who answer

You can get a black light and go around the floors and find the offending spots. Problem is.........you have wood floors. The pee has saturated into the wood and there's no way to get it out except replace the saturated parts. Sorry.

This also applies to carpeted areas where fido has saturated down to the plywood. At least there you can paint over with Kilz to encapsulate the odor. You can't do it with your hardwood floors.

Get "Nature's Miracle" (any pet store). Find the stained area (smell the floor for the intense area, yuck) Pour it all over the area. Let it soak in. It'll take about a week for the smell to release (and it'll smell worse as the liquid works out the smell, but then, it'll stop stinking.)

I've found Natures Miracle didn't work for me. I used something they sell at Petsmart called Get Serious, it's in the same cleanup area as the Natures Miracle, and it worked for me on my carpet. Others have used it on floors, and tile and various other locations with success.
