She did lots of things.
1. She killed her stepfather.
2. She ran from the police and the U.S. marshalls.
3. She caused an old boyfriend (a doctor) to be involved in a serious (they didn't show if he was killed or not, but kind of hinted that) car accident
4. she caused a farmer in Australia to be involved in a serious car accident (again, don't know for sure if he was killed or not)
5. She drugged and/or killed (again, didn't make it clear, but I THINK just drugged) her husband before she continued to run from law enforcement
6. She held up a bank, and got several people hurt (or killed) in the process.
Yeah, she's done a lot. But I suspect you're referring to the title of the episode, "What Kate Did," and if that's the case -- the "what" refers to the killing her stepfather.

in her prior life she was involved in a bank robbery that resulted in someone getting killed then she killed her boyfriend among other things. on the island she figured out how to gwt out of her cage and slept with sawyer, jack found out and is pretty upset.the new episodes start feb 7, i can't wait.GREAT SHOW!!

She was involved in a bank heist. She killed her boyfriend to save the manager of the bank.

The former is correct (I can't vote yet!) The stepfather raped her and abused her mother.
