I want to control my children's accessibility and time on the Internet - how do I do this?

I want to control who they talk to, the amount of time spent on the computer, and totally control who they talk to on Instant Messenger.

set up accounts on your computer, and make some of them NOT have access to the internet. Require PASSWORDS on the ones that do, and make sure you don't tell anybody what the passwords are - that way, they have to come to you to ask permission to go online. You would have to log them in to the account with the internet access.

theres a copuple ways to do this i no bacause i do all my computers upgrades and stuff like that now if you have mcafee privacy service you can limit the time on the internet go to mcafee.com to find out how and to block porn most isps' offer blockers like SBC offers a parental control which controls who they talk to i think how long they can be on the im too for whitch is YAHOO INSTANT MESSANGER ONLY and if you let them have a computer up in there room and ur afriad there looking at porn then there is a service that snaps pictures of your computer screen thought out the day than once your ready to check it just go on the program and enter your password and then you can see if there looking at porn

sit with them as they work on the computer. Limit to only 1 hour a day and be there when they are on it. No computers in their room; the coputer should be in a common area like the living room or den.
