probably one of the best if not the best soccer players the world has ever seen.
He used to play for Manchester United and then went to Real Madrid.
He was the captain of the English squad for FIFA's World Cups.
He resigned from captain after the 06 World Cup.
and he just announced after his season ends with Real Madrid he will be coming to America to play for the LA Galaxy
Has been dubbed a master of set-pieces specialising in free-kicks and has developed one which is known around the world as the 'Beckham', which involves lifting the ball over the 'wall', sending it towards the far post, but bending it back to the near post confusing the keeper and having the ball just dip under the bar for the goal.
He married one of the spice girls.. and he is known for famously sent off against Argentina in the 1998 world cup in France for retaliation.
lastly he is known for his remarkable kick during his debut as a futboller for kicking and succesfully making a goal from the half way mark of the field

Ha-don't act like you don't know who he is!!! Dude, evryone knows who David Beckham is!!! Did you like just arrive from like Pluto or something? Beckham is a highly overrated English footballer who is presently playing for Real Madrid but his contract expires in June. So yeah, like some of these people might have said--he's coming to play in the MLS with the L.A. Galaxy. And I so seriously hope he de-thrones Landon Donovan from his miniture-sized throne! Come on Becks!

david beckham is supposed to be a good football player; but he acts and looks like a hollywood celebrity more than a player. because he knows that he is not that good actually without that look he could not play in La Liga or F.A.

Or you may otherwise know him as the husband of Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham). He was also in the tabloid news not so long ago for having an affair with Rebbecca Loos who was his PA.
