You could be having a reaction to just about anything. I know people who get hives from cold, or from hot. It could be a change in temp thing. Start writing down everything you do in a day and everything you eat and when in there you got the hives and where. This way you may be able to see more of a pattern.

You get hives when you are allergic to something, so it may not even be those animals in particular but a part of the pollen that they are around or something else in nature that you are allergic to as well. I would recommend that you get an allergy test done and they might be able to pinpoint what exactly you are allergic to so that you can avoid it.

Yes you can get hives (allergic reaction) from any foreign protein or contact with animals. You must go to a specialist, to a doctor, to make some skin and blood tests to find out your list of allergens.
After the tests they'll find out the reasons for your hives. Some of them can be evitable (like cat fur), or some of them not so easy to avoid. (like house dust, mites, or pollens)

I get hives when I eat fish, pet a dog or a cat, hay and all other types of thigs. I also sometimes get hives when I am nervous or anxious about something. I went to the doctor and he conducted a test. It was sort of like a TB test (the one where they put a little bit of medicine under your skin and wait to see if the bumb grows). He was then able to determine my alergies. I suggest going in to see your doctor.

Yes, it's possible to allergic to any of them. I'm allergic to most dogs (but not the one I have now) and I break out in hives. Also, if my cats get close to my face, I break out in hives.

Take Benadryl at night. It will help with the itching. They also have cream for hives too. Don't scratch them. They have allergy relief shampoo to wash your pets in too. Good luck!

It's possible to be allergic to all of them. Use an air purifier in your bedroom. Great deals can be found on EBay. Take 25mg Benadryl at night which will help with this allergic response. It causes drowsiness with most people and I hope you are more comfortable. Most allergic reactions worsen with time. But they can be managed. have a great year.

I am allergic to cats and I will break out in hives if they scratch me or sometimes just from holding them. I also get really itchy eyes and a runny nose...sometimes asthma flares up too.
