You know when you go into the dr. office, the people who are at the desks what are they called?

You know, the people who you tell your here for, and they have you sit down and wait, what are they called do you need any experience for that.

They're usually called receptionists.

Based on the competency levels of those who work at MY doctor's office, I can only assume that no education is needed.

receptionist, administrative assistant, secretary, sometimes they are nurses

for experience take a typing class at a community college and get certified

take a basic computer skills class too- make sure you learn microsoft office and maybe get to work with an appointment system

answering phones is easy- learning the phone system(how to use voicemail, hold, transfer, etc) can be difficult so look into that
