It's right on my eyelid, it keeps jumping and it's been like that for over a week, every day at varius times it starts then stops for a while then again... I don't suffer from high blood pressure, relatively healthy... what could it be?

The same thing happened to my friend. It's caused by many different factors, the most common ones are: Not enough sleep, too much caffeine and stress.

Not too much most of us can do about stress, but are you getting 8 hours of sleep a night? Also are you drinking a lot of caffeine?

Try to get more sleep and cut back on caffeine. Then, if it doesn't stop see your doctor.

Actually, I've had that problem A LOT!!! I remember going to the eye doctor and asking him about that. It turns out that if you have a lot of caffeine in your system, that could be a major cause of your nerves jumping like that. I know for me, I've grown very sensitive to caffeine. I'm a big coffee and diet soda drinker (both of which have tons of caffeine) and my body will let me know right away when I've had too much caffeine. My left eye and my left knee will start jerking away on it's own. I now have to drink decaf stuff most of the time. So cut back on the caffeine if you can and it will stop after a few days.

My left eyelid twitched almost all summer. I asked my eye doctor when I had an eye exam and she said it's caused from stress, caffeine and fatigue. Get some rest and relax.

I think all of us have a similar problem...an eye twitch or some other muscle twitch that gets on our nerves...I get them when I am really stressed out it seems. Maybe try some relaxation techniques.

You too?!? I thought I was the only one! With me it only happens occasionally though and just goes away. If it's consistent like that you might want to see the DR.
