this was in the papers recently - in a survey they found that people who acted on gut instincts were normally right where as when they weighed up the pros and cons people tended to be wrong

What you call gut instinct I call the Holy Spirit speaking to me and the fact that we all know right from wrong. Some like to dismiss.

with me its strange some times something tells me to go with my gut instincts and sometimes something tells me not to. its wired but i still get it wrong even though i new i should have followed what i thought. if that makes sense

gut instincts are not always your best bet i guess to sit and think a while before you do anything rash if you have doubts its probably not right anyway

It depends how strong my instinct was. If I had only small doubts which were unfounded then I would wait to see how it ended up.
