What do you think is better for disappearing? Flash Grenades or Smoke Grenades?

Ideally you would be using a flash grenade that produced a lot of excess smoke. It depends on the situation. If you're in a very well lighted area the flash grenade might not have as much of an effect as you'd like and in a very dark area well the flash grenade would definitely blind people for a few seconds because of the drastic pupil contraction but it could also draw the attention of other people that might have only seen the flash in their peripheral vision and would have uninhibited night vision for the most part so they would see you since all the flash had done was get their attention. It depends on if you're dissappearing for theatrical purposes like part of a magic show or if you legitimately need to get the hell out of there without people knowing which way you went. Smoke is probably your best bet more often than not.

Flash grenades are designed to stun the enemy usually in a urban environment. Which allows a team to assault the enemy without getting shot up. Whereas smoke grenades are used to screen to move up closer to a building or in your case away. I would say Smoke.
