Have a Doctor run full check, blood, urine, whole body MRI, various scans. But some can be done by you.
Some food allergy, some medication, heat wave, bad food, bed water or drink, too cold......
Write down, make a list, if it happens, check the list.
Start waring loose clothing, even watch and some jewellery..
I just lay down when I feel it is coming, does not matter floor is dirty or I am in my best dress, keep from falling and doing secondary damage.
Keeping head low keep you from further brain damage also, most of the time people faint even for no reason, some how they pinch some blood vessels that supply blood to the brain by keeping head low and legs elevated you get some blood to the brain and avoid brain damage, let every one know this around you to make sure they do that to you if it occurs do not worry about dress or modesty dress can be washed/replace and most people have seen people in breathing suite or more.

This happened to my wife at work, and it turned out she had a ovarian cyst that had burst and caused some internal bleeding. So definitely consider seeing a doctor.
The only non-serious reason for fainting is if you change your body position rapidly (like standing up after lying on the couch for a while). Quite a few people will get light-headed and tunnel vision from that.

If you feel faint, sit down immediately. Loosen any tight clothing, sight as shirt collars or waist bands.
Lying down in the best, with your feet elevated.
Having something sweet to eat, with sugar in it, also helps.
Breathe into a paper bag, & do this for a few breaths until your heart stops beating so fast.
Then, sit up slowly.
You may want to be seen by a Doctor to rule out anything serious.

I have fainted before as well. I hadn't been sleeping very well and probably partying a little too hard. You probably need to check your blood pressure. There are several blood pressure machines at grocery stores and such without having to fork up money for a doctor. If it keeps occuring, then yes, I would go see a doctor. Also take in to account any meds you are taking, including vitamins. I have taken vitamins that when they built up in my system made me extremely dizzy. Good luck

First of all, ask yourself -- had you had anything to eat, what was the time; is it possible that you are pregnant? In addition, are you a vegan, maybe you're not getting enough iron in your body -- you could be anemic or your blood pressure is low. Drink some gatorade to restore your electrolites and eat something -- red meat or if a vegan, stock up on those legumes! Then go see your doctor. Our body is our temple and you need to keep its foundation in order.

I've fainted twice in my life, yeah it's freaky. This site lists some possible causes of fainting, but definitely talk to your doctor about it.

Without knowing your age and medical history it is hard to say, however, I agree that you should eat something ... not a huge meal, just a snack and see how you feel. Also, you may feel better after you drink a glass of water. If you do not feel a LOT better within, say, an hour, please call your regular physician and ask him what you should do.

There has to be a reason so you need to be checked out. Did you eat? You could have low blood sugar. I have had anxiety attacks in the past and pass out.

Go to the Dr you aren't saying to much about how you felt before you fainted.
