Why do people think asian women are smarter than white women?

They score higher on IQ tests. Although it depends on your definition of 'white', which can be quite broad.

However, I have noticed that Asians have a tremendous capacity for work, analysis and following instructions. Not so much as free thinkers per se. The females have absolutely great attitudes, very, very agreeable; which definitely helps in a number of ways.

The white girls are scary smart but can be quite stubborn, restless and well, kind of dominant. This means that even when they don't know something they might pipe up and may not feel the need to study as they should.

So I think it's mostly appearances.

I have never heard or seen where they are smarter. They where too much make-up, most don't know what a bath or shower is. They are lousy drivers, never get in front of one or be careful driving behind one.
At least when we drive we know that when you put on a light turn signal [ we turn left ] not your Asian women [ dumb nuts they turn right and will go as far as flipping you off ].
Now they may spell better then some white women do.....

Theirs no such a thing in the world that actually among any race, culture, anybody completely smarter, or perfect. Every Human hasa choice to choose How to be proffecional and go for it. People like hardworking, sacrifice all their life, doing too many jobs, value their time, controll money, bad habbits, reading, learning new skills, learning mistakes, stay longer studies if they able to contirbute in Finance, or give up too many T.V. and unnessary pleasure it block to succeed,. Perhaps, I think if a any Human person took advantage of what really opened in the world who couldmakeuse of it smaller or big, without wasting, that person would be the smater person. In this world we'll got to live, survive. Eachone proffecional in a different type of post of jobs. It doesn't have to be a Doctor. Example: without a Fisherman we cann't eat , nuture Fish. Garbage Cleaner without don't have a good Hygine, better clean enviorenment. Every Job is a job. This is a good lesson and good chance of for you to show that you one of smater person than who try to tell you that Asian people are smarter than others. I'm not a smater person. But,I don't give up. What ever I can copy, or able to pick up good stuf. or free stuff, I will take it and say thanks. Lazziness could destroy everything. Thanks.

Who says that people think this? I believe you heard it mentioned but are generalizing unfairly. Do you mean all people? White people? Asian people? Black people? White women? Blondes? Come on--the question is too vague. Maybe Asian women are as smart as white women but look more serious, thus are thought to be smarter. My wife is Asian and she is very smart, but she still calls me her guru and I am white (albeit not a woman).

I dont think asians are per say "smarter". But their culture tends to be one where there is immense pressure to be successful. They work hard for what they get, asians have not had it easy in this country, just look at the camps they were forced to in WWII losing homes, buisnesses and such, they didnt whine, complain and pull the racism card every 5 mintues. Anyway they now have a higher income bracket then white americans.
I think they are a great minority success story that shows when you work hard enough you will succed no matter the obstacles. Hehe if you cant tell i greatly admire them. :)

I never heard that before of course the country is well advanced its not a matter of what race is smarter its based on who takes the opportunity to learn and enhance their mines. People always have to make race an issue why cant everyone just get along.

probalby a cultural thing, women in the states have barely begun to be more than second class citizens, and its still not 100% acceptable for them to be considered smarter than boys. There is also a preception that asians are smarter than whites in general, and it is true that they are much better educated and work harder as a people than americans are forced to.

here u go again asking questions about minorirties, why do u care. the media portrays what they think of each race, back in the day blonde and blue-eyed was seen as the best thing and people believed it, but times are changing, that isnt the only thing that can be beautiful. i think ur man left u for a girl who is a minority are u jealous or something

it's just a stereotype. people who grow up in china and japan and everywhere over there are thought to be smarter because of the way they are taught in school. over there the schools are more strict than our american schools nowdays
