I use it for my baby, and have noticed a BIG difference. I would recommend it.

My 2 and a half year old daughter was a very colicky baby. One thing that made a big difference was switching from powdered formula or concentrated formula to the ready to serve formula that way it doesn't need to be shaken up to be mixed which can put more bubbles in the bottles causing more gas. Also, if you ask your doctor he might have a better suggestion or may know what is causing the fussiness. Don't feel bad about calling him or her, that's what they are there for. Anyway, that was similac and I don't have experience with the gentalease formula - sorry, hope what I said helps a little.

I did use it for a while with my son, and it did help to ease the gas. I actually weened him from it by mixing the generic formula with that until his digestion system toughened up a little bit. After I stopped using it though, I noticed a sign at Target that announced the recall of 2,000 cans or so. So that kind of scared me a little.

I tried it with my daughter and it made no difference. Try the ready made kind like someone else suggested, it makes since to me. My daughter is now 8.5 months old and the problem has fixed its self.
