Well, first you'll need some clay.

I'd suggest making it hollow, since solid clay will shink and dry poorly (if at all). I'm going to assume you know how to work with clay. If you don't have access to a kiln, you actually might want to try using a large block of white Sculpey, since it cracks and shrinks a lot less when trying.

What you might want to do is first make a model pyramid out of cardboard (like from cereal boxes). That way you know the shape and size is correct. Once you have this, roll out some clay maybe half a centimeter (1/4 inch) thick. Still pretty thick and heavy. Then cut it into four equal and IDENTICAL triangular shapes, using the pieces of your cardboard model as a stencil or template.

If you're using oven-baked clay, like Sculpey, bake these in the oven for the right amont of time. When they cool, glue them together from the inside, and then you can paint it with any regular paint.

If you're using air-drying clay, lay the four pieces on top of your model pyramid and then smooth the seams together with more clay and some water. Let it dry on the model, so that it doesn't shrink that much. When it's partially dry ('leather dry'), which will be after a day, you can carefully decorate it to look like bricks with a toothpick or a butter knife, if you want. Then let it dry all the way - a few days.

1. Make a cube of clay 14 inches on a side.

2. Cut away everything but the pyramid.

Cut plywood 14 X 14, then 13 x 13 then 12 x 12 then 11 x 11 and so on stack it on top of each other in succession with glue, dry then overlay it with clay! Ta DA!
