My truck seems to have problems with its RPM`s
I start the truck and it will sputter around 200 rpm then reach 1000
I then drive the truck with no problems, let off the gas and it will immediatly drop down to 200 or 0 rpm the lights will dim and pop back up to 1000 or 750. It will also stall if idling for more than a minute or so.

Then next day I use the truck no problems 750 to 1000 during use.
The Day after 200 RPM -0 RPM problems again.

Im stumpped I thought it was the battery, the alternator, vaccuum leak .......I hope the engine isnt going to crap out its only got 47000 miles and is in mint condition

If anyone has any guess feel free to share

I am an Ase Cerified tech and my i fixed the same truck that you have. The problem was that the "engine coolent sensor" was sending the wrong temp ( it was too high) to the ecm(engine Control module) and it made it rev down to protect the engine from over heating so i wound say that it would be the engine coolent sensor hope it works

Sounds as though your IAC is sticking, no big deal. Its on the side of the throttle body, unplug and take it off, then clean the plunger and seat with induction system cleaner. Don't just use carb cleaner.
