In other words if you make $150,499 or more you are in the top 5% of household incomes in theUnited States. Half the country earns $41,000 or less.

Not 100% sure about this, but I heard you'd have to be worth over $10 million to be in the top 5%. My source of information may have been unreliable though -- according to this particular study I'm in the top 30% of Americans in terms of annual income because I make more than $50,000.00 a year (?!?!!!?!?!??!?!!)
