Yes, being as a 15-year-old girl i def think hip-hop is dead, you know people are all worried about the bling-bling, sex, drugs, and violence. Whatever happen to the content of hip hop. When hip hop had art. I am not talking about some "ballin"...ooh no I am talking about "the Message" by Grandmaster flash and the furious five. And yes i am old enough to know what that is. Now, it is just garbage with exception of a few new rappers. I can't really say what happen in hip hop but i all i know is that it went down in the middle or late 90's! Also everyone want to rappers, and knowing that they can't rap...get it together hip-hop for-real.

1. No, just an old genre of music now.
2. Not any one song. It's a matter of satiation. After awhile, people tire of it, and want something new to come along.
3. Thankfully music keeps changing. There are a handful of singers who truly have unique voices & material. The rest are generic sounding & looking.
4. People will always like hip-hop, but tastes will evolve.
Good Luck and Warm Wishes.

See that's where some people have it all messed up. Music is a form of a expressing emotion. Where genres come into play I guess as one sees fit. Hip Hop has a history and it will be forever changing it is impossible for it to remain the same. But people who don't know that as generations change all music will follow.

Well, I think that ALL music is experiencing a sort of death right now. Lately it seems that artists are recycling old music or old styles instead of creating their own, whether it's hip hop, rock, or whatever. I could just be getting old, but it's starting to sound the same to me more and more often, and that is a difference I have noticed in the past 5 years or so.

Dear God I hope so. Puffy killed it in the mid 90's and brought about the demise of intelligent hip-hop and ushered in the ultra-materialistic mysogonistic garbage that you hear today.

Gwen Stefani is stabbing it with an ice pick and it's not dead yet, so I think it will be ok.
