The earth has wind because it is heated unevenly between the poles and the equator. This unequal heating causes differences in pressure or the weight of the atmospheric column of air at the earth's surface. The air attempts to flow from where it is under high pressure to where it is under lower pressure, but as it begins to move in a straight line from high to low pressure two other forces come into play. First their is friction near the surface which slows the movement of the air which we call wind. Secondly, in the northern hemisphere air is deflected or tends to turn to the right due to the Coriolis force which results from the rotation of the earth. The combination of these forces results in air spiraling out of a high pressure area in a clockwise direction and into a low pressure area in a counter-clockwise direction.

Wind id due to the unequal heating of the earths surface. With temp difference there is also a pressure difference. The higher pressure areas try to migrate to lower pressure as "mother Nature" is alway trying to equalize. Lines (ispbars) of equal pressure is called a pressure gradient, the closer the lines of isobars, the stronger the wind.

the wind is air which like having water evry where

and the direction and strength of the wind are determined and actually the effects of changes in the solid enviroment

so the wind is really used to tell what is happening everywhere on earth but most people dont know how to make machines to do it

if everyone is greedy and floating on a small planet in space then we are all pirates
