I'm a guy, and not sure of what exactly a routine pap smear tests at an annual gynecologist appointment.

Do they routinely test for STDs such as chlamydia and gonorrhea with each pap smear even if not specifically requested?

No you have to ask for STD tests if you want them done. A pap smear only tests for abnormal cerival cells and nothing more.

No you have to ask for them to be done. I think Planned Parenthood may include that, but a regular OBGYN is not going to include that unless you specifically ask for the testing to be done.
