'99' VW Golf - have to put a quart of oil in every 2-3 weeks!?

I've had it checked--no leaks--not burning oil--what gives?

do u drive a lot? I used to run thru my miles very 3 weeks because my job entitled me to do a lot of driving. (i've had 4 VWs never could the problems be simple. LOL)

You missed a leak, and how do you know it isn't burning the oil?
