To turn a percent into a fraction, you need to divide it by 100.
8 1/3 = 25/3
8 1/3% = (25/3)% = (25/3) / 100 = 25/300 = 1/12

Turn 8 (1/3) into a fraction by multiplying denominator 3 by number 8 = 24. Add numerator 1, = 25. The denominator for your fraction is 3, so your fraction is 25/3. Since it is a percent, divide your fraction by 100, so you get 25/300. Simplify to 1/12.
