It seems that a lot of political questions I've read are on the attack. I'm not saying it's wrong... I'm just wondering if it's an honest attempt to see if someone can give a well thought out answer, or just an excuse to blast the republicrat target of your choosing?

Way to go Aztec! I was wondering how long it would take for a politically motivated answer. 4th answer is actually longer than I thought it would take! :-D

It's mostly an excuse to be snarky. But so is 45% of all answers on Yahoo Answers. It gives people an excuse to act as if they are more intelligent then everyone else. It makes them feel better so it's o.k.

I ask very few questions, but when I do I honestly am curious about the possible answers. I may disagree or agree, but it gives me some needed insight from time to time as to why some people feel a certain way about something or how and why they see it differently than myself. I probably won't agree with them, and may refute their answers in "add'l details" but it helps me to understand sometimes why they feel the way they do, whether I consider it wrong or right.

It's a rhetorical question, which I often enjoy answering. Debate!

I'd say that's most of the questions here.

I have asked my share, and occasionally given the best answer to someone with whom I disagree but who raised a good point.

PS I generally avoid the extremely loaded and/or insulting questions here.

Snarky.

But a question can be "politically skewed" and still present a validate point for debate.

Although 99.9% of Bush-basher questions are pure emotional vomit.

Most likely the latter, and I see this from both Democrats and Republicans.

I think it is both. People are looking for agreement and to pick a fight at the same time.

Many people just want an anonymous forum to vent their views, whether they know anything or not.
