Sure, they're both crazy....like a FOX.
This war isn't about troops, or Saddam, or lives lost...this war is about profits, HUGE profits.
Sadly, even after 2 terms, a lot of Americans STILL don't get that...

21,000 more soldiers means 21,000 more targets. The more targets the more deaths. The more deaths the more unstable the region appears. The more unstable the region appears the more they can rationalize not turning over power at the end of their term, because the war on terror will not have been won and neither of the alternatives that will be running for President is going to support the insane policy we ahve been following since 2000.

I for one agree with you, but pouring more troops onto the problem is not neccessarily a bad idea, for quite a few reasons.
First of all, the presence of force frequently can outperform the actual ability of troops to perform. By sending even more of MY FRIENDS BUSH YOU ASSHOLE, we can have a large garrison on hand to basically intimidate the opposition away from attacking us.
Also, war, with all of its facets and complexity, can be viewed abstractly as a tide. If we want the war to sway to our side, we need to stay firm and in power throughout the course of the encounter.
However, we're not fighting a war on regular terms anymore. We have an ousted dictator who is, within weeks of his death, becoming a martyr to the Sunnis, the political rebel faction typically associated with Saddam. Civil war is looming, if not allready started, and we're losing grip on a centralized government and order. While I support helping people in disadvantaged spots, and taking responsibility to end senseless and ethno-religious warring, we're only making a bad situation worse, and ending thousands of innocent lives.,

I agree with you a 100 percent. This president has officially lost his mind. I can't believe that people still buy into the bullshit that comes out of this guys mouth! Don't get me wrong, I'm neither a Republican or Democrat. It's just crazy that some people in this country will still support this idiot because he is the "Republican" leader! Totally insane!

There is more to President Bush's new policy than simply sending in more troops, at least be honest. That maybe a Chinese saying that you are quoting, but it is also one recited by Senator Robert Byrd, WV on the Senate Floor the other day, he gets a pass due to his age, you have no excuse for the stupidity. I agree with President Bush, he is the Commander In Chief, and I think a bit more qualified than you to make such decisions. I absolutely disagree with your assertion that Bush/Cheney (President Bush and Vice President Cheney) are insane. I do however, question the sanity of any one that voted that group of liberal clowns into office.

the reason bush wants to send in more troops is because he made a mistake starting a war in iraq. now he wants to fix it. also he does not want to be remembered as the president who started the war, cost 3,000 deaths of soldiers and did not accomplish anything.

Sending more to Iraq is so that the war can be over faster and so that the SANE Bush and Cheney may finally get some peace from the nagging liberals.

Bush may not be technically INSANE, but he has unleashed insanity on an unsuspecting nation and the entire middle east.
